Cliffhanger Academy

Cliffhanger Academy is a revolutionary new form of…

...wai-wait!

This sounds a lot like I’m advertising for the brand. Just to be clear, this isn’t an ad for CHA, I just helped brand the company.

What part you ask? Everything.

I could rattle off a list, but to keep it simple: I helped design everything you see, and feel about the brand.

Evolution of the logo

A logo fit for a Hero…or Rambo.

When I hear Cliffhanger, my mind goes straight to Sylvester Stallone in the “blockbuster” hit Cliffhanger. It was epic, and I hate using that word, but there’s no other way of putting it. He was doing some crazy shit.

So when David, the founder, came to me for help, the first thing that came to my mind was, crazy mountain shit. We didn’t really have much else to go on. That, and three seemingly unrelated areas that were the basis of his academy (we eventually coined the term “Psy-Fi System”).

That was it.
Where’s Adrian when you need her?

Who are you?
We Are Heroes. That’s our tagline.

How do you become a hero?
We take you on a journey through the Psy-Fi System. That stands for Psychology-Fitness. Heroes are “sci-fi,” right?

I’m still confused…
Remember the introduction you didn’t read? It’s the three different areas which make-up the Psy-Fi System: Brain, Body, Breath.
It is the trifecta of Hero-dom (don’t bother looking it up, it’s not a word. Welcome to branding.)

Cliffhanger Academy offers three different journeys to Hero-dom.
You can surf, rock climb, or Muay-Thai your way into the promise land of spandex and thunderbolts.

Now go be a hero.
Or at least get off your ass and do something.
